Cast is external splintage to fix affected part’s original shape in modern medical technology. Cast also means the materials for external splintage.
A roll and function of cast is to lead natural healing by immobilization of fractured part. This treatment has been applying from the past to present as basic and core method.
The material for external splintage was made by gypsum for the beginning.

User Manual
1. Cover Stockinette on the part to be casted and put gauze bandage around.
2. Put the product in the 15~20°C water for 10 seconds and squeeze dry when the center of the roll is wet.
(The higher the temperature of the water, the shorter the stiffening time.
If the water temperature is too high, there can be a burning due to high calorific value and the strength is weakened.)
3. Put bandage around the affected area overlapping 1/2~2/3 of the bandage.
4. Mold bandaged part several times repeatedly with hands so that the strength can be maintained and stiffening time can be shortened.
5. Keep in cool dry place.

Duk-In Lite 'S' has been designed for use in emergency treatment for fracture patients, minor fracture, sprain, etc.

Use it the same way with plaster bandage. Its high strength saves the amount of use.

Patient can move after 30 minutes of application.

Using Method
1. Cover the part to be treated with stockinette and put gauze bandage around.
2. First wear glove(must), open Duk-in Lite "Poly", soak it in room temperature water for 5-10 seconds and brush off the water.
3. Put bandage around the affected part overlapping 1/2~2/3 of the bandage.
4. In general, put 3~4 layers but for the part that needs to support body weight put 5~6 layers.
5. After 3~15 minutes of application setting is ready and 20 minutes after setting, it can perfectly support the weight.
6. When kept in under 24°C dry place the shelf life is 2 years. As the product would be hardened when there is a hole in sealed package, please make sure that the package is not damaged.

Duk-In S-Splint (Roll type)
Duk-In S-Splint has been designed for use in emergency treatment for fracture patients, minor racture, sprain, etc.

Economical Use
As splint is ready to be used, it can be quickly and easily used by cutting necessary length preventing waste.
Anti-Bacterial and Deodorization Treated
Its inside is fiberglass which is watersetting Poly-Urethane resin coated and its surface is anti-bacterial and deodorized felt.
Allow Activity in Short Time
In 20 minutes of application, patients can move.
Easy Storage
It can be easily sealed with sealing clip which prevents natural hardening.
User Manual
1. Choose proper size depending on the condition and size of injury and cut it into necessary size.
2. Seal the rest of the roll immediately with sealing clip.
3. Take splint out from its aluminum packing and soak it in a running water for 5-10 seconds holding sheer side up.
4. Put splint on a towel, roll it to remove excessive water and to strengthen the adhesion between layers.
5. Put thick fiber surface of splint on the affected part and wrap it with an elastic bandage to fix it.
